Lots and lots of snow! Ezra has attempted today to scoop some of the driveway. He first started by the garage where there is a drift over his waist. Didn't go to well in that area. So he moved down the driveway to where there was a bare spot and scooped from there.
The four oldest are now playing in the back yard before the temperatures plummet down to zero!
Well Emmeline just came inside saying "It's too windy out there". Very true - we're in a blizzard warning. She lasted about 15 minutes outside.
I've started reading to the kids the Billy and Blaze series by C.W. Anderson with Ezra specifically in mind. They are enjoying it so far. Monday, Emmeline will complete her short vowel readers. Then I'll review them with her to make sure she knows them well before moving her on to the harder readers with cluster sounds like sh, ch, th, er, etc.

Am reading and enjoying your postings, Elaine! I can just imagine Ezra scooping snow. It sounds to me like it would be difficult to keep up with that project today in Minnesota.
Next time Emmeline reads to me she have so much progress for me to hear. Go, Emmeline!
