Teeth

Well this has been the week of TEETH! On Saturday May 8th, Emmeline lost her 1st tooth. Tom helped her pull it out with a little bit of dental floss. Click here to see the pictures.

The second incident with teeth was not so good. Ezra & Ella were playing outside on the swing set on Monday the 10th. Ezra put the play kitchen in front of the slide. My mom had already told him to move it away the day before. But alas he didn't listen and moved in front again. Ezra slides down the slide with Ella sliding down right after him. Ella bumps into Ezra, who then proceeds to fall forward and smack his mouth on the play kitchen that's sitting in front of the slide. Oh, what a bump! Ezra knocked his mouth hard enough that there were 3 very loose askew teeth on the top front of his mouth. So we had to take him to the dentist that afternoon, and the dentist ended up pulling all 3 of them. Now Ezra is toothless on top - 4 teeth missing! At least it was 1 1/2 years between dentist visits (for having to get teeth pulled due to accidents). Ezra's comment that night at bedtime was "It's easier to suck my thumb now."
