Yesterday we did a spontaneous trip to the cities to meet up with my parents who were up in Rochester from Kansas for some Doctor appts for my Dad. Our whole family spent the afternoon with Grandpa and Grandma. We ate some Arby's Sandwiches and then walked around the Mall of the America - not that the Mall was any of our favorite place to be or visit, but it was large of enough to walk around in and it gave plenty for our kids to look at. After awhile we left and went to Gander Mountain (an outdoor store) where my Dad got a nice winter hat on clearance and Tom & I picked up some clothes on clearance as well. Then my parents headed back to Rochester and we at at McDonalds and then headed home. The kids didn't have much of a nap and so all of them fell asleep fairly quickly. My parents will be back up in a couple of weeks for my Dad's surgery at Mayo on the tumor near his left ear.
In the morning I put away some clothes into bins/totes and started to make a list of what I needed to look for this summer at Garage sales.
