Snow!

We got lots of snow, a heavy wet. From Thurs night till this morning we had close to 10 inches on the ground. Tom did snow blow the driveway this morning because it won't get to the 40's until Monday, and so the snow won't melt as fast. The kids have enjoyed playing in the snow: pushing the snow off the railing on the deck and brushing the snow off the very low hanging branches of the climbing pine tree. Some of the branches were so low that they touched the top of the snow on the ground. The kids have loved using their "sand" toys playing in the snow. Ezra and Ella have gone down the slide on the swing set, plowing their feet into the snow at the bottom. Maybe this afternoon we'll try some sledding - will have to see how the day goes.

I sorted coupons this morning. Emmeline likes to do "coupons" too. She gets out her scissors, her purse (where she stores her coupons) and sorts her coupons - this keeps her occupied for a good half an hour.
