coupon day

I found a family in our church who gets the Sunday paper and they'd don't use hardly any of the coupons. So they'll pass them on to me! I did my cutting & sorting this evening and checked the sales at Glenn's - our local grocery store here in Winsted - and used coupons for things on sale there. I saved $6.38 by using the coupons. I hope to get more items there and then have to buy less at more distant stores - which either takes time during Tom's day to get or it takes alot of work for me to take a big trip to Hutch to go to Walmart.
