It was warm up here today, above freezing and in the 30's! So we went for a walk. I carried Elise on my back and Tom pulled the wagon (since our double stroller's tire blew this past fall), with the older 3 taking turns riding in it, pushing it, and walking along beside us. A very pleasant walk and the fresh air was good to be out in. It was warm enough that we grilled pork steak's tonight! Served along side it was butternut squash and steamed whole (frozen) green beans. Everyone liked it and there were no leftovers. With the walk and grilling, it's hard to believe that it's January in Minnesota.
Elise is sick with a cold and fever. It started yesterday afternoon and still going today. Her voice is croaky and sounds like a guy's voice going through adolescence. So far the other kids are not sick, but Tom is pretty sure that he has the same thing that Elise has - tight throat and a fever. Because Elise was not feeling well, I held her through the service and she slept through most of Tom's sermon.
