Exciting building for tomorrow's visitor's

No young people's group tonight. Tom needed to work on his sermon. The girls helped me fold quite a few loads of laundry after supper tonight. The kids really like the hamburger patties (from Sam's Club). They each had a whole one and Ella had 2!
The temps dropped most of the day. It started out at 21 with some snow (which didn't last long) at 9am. Then by 5pm it was close to zero! Tonight it'll be -16 and tomorrow will hopefully sneak above zero for the high. On Monday Tom & I head up north to Brainerd for the annual church planters retreat. Tom's parents are coming up tomorrow to watch our kids for us while were gone. They're also bringing up with them all the things we left behind at Christmas time. So we'll get to see lots of Christmas gifts again and get to see the items we bought on our annual "day after Christmas" shopping trip. That'll be fun.
The girls are liking the Bible story we read each night before bedtime out of The Bible for Little Eyes. We're on the story of Joseph right now. Each story ends with 3 questions about the story just read, and Ella usually gets a couple of them right and Emmeline can usually answer 1 of them. The girls are quite excited about their grandparents coming up. They both prayed tonight that they would have a safe trip up here tomorrow. Emmeline seems to be convinced that Aunt Michelle is also coming because "She lives in the same house and she's been up here before!"
My baking stuff did turn out pretty well. The kids are liking the poppyseed "muffins" and the chocolate "cake".
This afternoon I started to organize my music folder. I put the all the songs with guitar cords in sheet protectors and made a list of those that I need a copy of.
