A walk to the Post Office

Yesterday was sunny day with decent temperatures, so we went for a walk the post office while on our way to mom's group. We mailed a book Tom sold and we got our taxes mailed!! The big tax project is done. I had lots of paperwork to fill out since this year we're using someone new. For the walk: Ella walked, Ezra & Emmeline rode in the wagon, and I carried Elise on my back. After the post office we went over to mom's group which was meeting at another lady's house this week. The kids had fun playing with some different toys and and I was able to have some good conversations with the other 2 mom's who were there.
The timing of the walk & mom's group worked out well, since Tom had his Triad meeting (he meets monthly with 2 other church planters) at our house Wed. morning. We left for the walk as the 2 pastors showed up and we returned home for lunch just as they were heading out.
Tom & I were able to leave early for the Love n Respect group and go out to eat. We had a certificate for a local restaurant that we wanted to use up before it expired at the end of the month. So it was a nice treat to go out to eat with just Tom. We have 2 more weeks left of the Love n Respect sessions and then we'll have one night of playing the "newly wed" game and then we'll watch a movie the following week of Cinderella Man - which we've heard is a movie that has many of the Love n Respect principles in it.
