Tom was gone with the minivan most of the day, so we walked over to mom's group at Marie's home 1/2 mile away. Elise rode on my back dressed up in her fluffy yellow snowsuit. Ella walked most of the way & Ezra, Emmeline rode in the wagon. Discussion at mom's group was mostly of the caucus that occurred last night here in town (Minnesota does not have primary elections but has causus' - which is supposed to be a discussion of issues wanted for the candidate to consider. They did vote for who they wanted the republic party to choose for their candidate and then those votes are taken into consideration for who the state chooses to pick as their candidate) I don't fully understand how it all works, but that's my trying to summarize it.
Home for some apples & ground ham for lunch. Then quiet/nap time. I tried to read 2 chapters in Exodus, but was too tired and only got through 1 and had to take a nap.
The evening was another session of Love and Respect study. We started on how do men need/receive respect. Quite interesting! We went over their God given desire to work and their God given desire to provide & protect. The women at the study know we're command in Ephesians 5 to respect our husbands, but yet it's like a foreign language because we don't really know how to do it. Because we as women naturally love others, but do not naturally respect men (like men naturally respect people, but loving does not come naturally). So Emmerson did really well explaining what respect looks like to men.
